There are the very trendy clothes that may no longer be relevant next year. With the economy as it is, you might want to give those a pass.

Dynasty style shoulder pads may be back but rather than buy one of the current heavily padded jackets or tops that would probably be out of fashion this year. Pick one that suits your personality.

3. Strappy Shoes
High heel shoes make an amazing difference to the way a woman looks. This season strappy heels abound. Those with straps that wrap around the ankle are absolutely gorgeous. If heels aren't for you, there are flats with straps that wrap around your ankle too. Consider getting those if you don't want a Prada fall.

4. Silk Pants
Looks like the pajama pants trend isn't going to die out. Silky pants are here to stay. Get yourself a pair of silk pants. These should drape your legs. Pick them in a neutral shade. Preferably in a color that matches a silk jacket so that you can wear them to work as well as for play. Silk pants in neutrals like gray, black, nude or white, this season's colors, go with everything and you can wear them year after year.

5. Halters

Scribe and Chief are long sleeved shirts that feature the double layered look which appears as if a short sleeved shirt is being worn over a long sleeved shirt. It's a popular style among the youth age group. Each features the signature Drifter image and is made from 100 percent cotton. Glory is a steel grey short sleeved shirt with an image that represents the ongoing power struggle in Columbia.

Drifter's Men's SS 08 line of clothing features their popular Godspeed design which comes in both short sleeve and long sleeve. The shirts come in black and white and display their iconic eagle image. Also available is the grey Deta design, a simple V-neck T-shirt which is made from 100 percent cotton. The Trent design is a long sleeve button up collar shirt with a front pocket. Bully is a simple white T-shirt that comes in white only and is 100 percent cotton with a unique Drifter style image. It is a classic design, updated with Drifter's own unique style and image. Other available designs include Venom, Slip, Based, Riders, the limited edition Badge of Honor, and the Brigadier hoodie.

Last to be discussed is the Women's SS 08 line which presents a whole host of beautiful, unique designs that are sure to draw attention. First, there is a female variation of the classic Godspeed design which is white, available in long sleeves, and includes a gold eagle design. 'Hey' is a cute, yellow tank top design with a white image which is made of 100 percent cotton. Input is a double layer design which features a tank top over another shirt that is a bit larger. It is sleeveless and comes in steel and crystal grey. Other designs in the line include: Carine, Dawn Trailing, and Space Suit.

Simplicity is always their main focus as they base each shirt design off of the original T-shirt which they consider to be the zenith of clothing design. Drifter is available for both men and women. The Drifter line of clothing is an ongoing process, with new designs being introduced and older designs disappearing every day.
